blue-winged teal

Was opening night on my recent photo trip and North Dakota put on a quite a show. Ducks packed the praire potholes, the sun beamed through towering cumulus clouds, and rain shimmered in the warm light just before an epic sunset. The encore was this gentle blue sky that looked smashing on this Blue-wing.
