Most of my photos are captures… photos capturing a moment as I found or experienced it. Others, like this, are crafted. The framing, perch and position of the light were preselected. An orange-gelled, remote flash mimics morning light. The talent is even more fickle, doesn’t accept Venmo, and insisted on pre-payment in raw, premium peanuts.
