Seen hundreds over the years… Some are shy, others bold and on this trip met a lazy one. Yep, lazy or maybe efficient, not sure which😂 He’d lay down in the middle of a prairie dog town and wait, often for over an hour. Maybe one strayed too far from a hole, or turned its back, but with legs tucked under like a tensioned bow he’d explode after the inattentive prairie dog. An interesting strategy for sure, but we watched well past sunset and I’m pretty sure he went to bed hungry.
