The floating blind is a great way to get close to birds. They still have a personal perimeter that varies among species and individuals. Still, the 600 is rarely too long a lens… except when the swans show up. If the cygnets are around they mom and pop swim right up seemingly trying to scare me off. Can’t seem to back away fast enough 😂.
